Planet Guinea WheekGrass is an Organic Barley Grass. We have selected this variety for the ease of growing factor and of course, the taste to Guineas factor. WheekGrass is easy to grow and can usually be harvested within 14 days.

WheekGrass is packed with nutrients making it ideal for post op piggies, and nursing Mums. WheekGrass is packed full of protein, vitamins and minerals such as calcium, iron and vitamin C. Because of this it should be fed as a treat only. Some Guineas do seem to eventually regulate their intake of Cereal Grasses but only if they have plenty of other food available and once they have got over the excitement of having fresh grass daily. When introducing WheekGrass (and any Cereal Grass) feed a meal of hay beforehand.
