Ribwort Plantain is the long leaved variety that is commonly found growing on lawns. We have successfully grown this in pots inside and, given the space, we have found it grows outdoors well too. Sow with one of our slower growing grasses such as Orchard or Timothy. Plantain will come back year after year with very little attention from you.
Plantain in the wild grows on poor soils but we have grown it on our Brilliant Brick! compost which has no added nutrients etc.

We have found Ribwort Plantain an easy variety of herbage to grow that appears year after year whether sown in an outside pot (large) or in the ground (April onwards). It easily self seeds so we suspect that we have a few new plants as well now!

The trial size is ideal for mixing with Timothy Grass/Orchard or other herbage and planting outside directly into the ground once the risk of frost has passed.

All seeds come packed in a resealable bag for your convenience and with complete sowing and growing tips. Postage and packing included in price.
