Orchard Grass has the correct nutritional values and when guineas are allowed to play in it they can express their natural behaviour by tunneling through the long leafy stalks. Because it is a slower growing variety it can successfully be grown alongside Timothy grass- also nutritionally suitable for guinea pigs. Orchard grass needs regular cutting. A good grass for those hot seasons that we get.
Orchard Grass can be grown inside but does better when grown outside. Inside it is unlikely to reach the age and height of the grass outdoors and will therefore be inferior as it cannot reach its full potential.

All our seeds come with hints and tips sheets and full sowing and growing instructions. They will be packaged in a resealable bag contained in a Jiffy bag. Post and packing is included in the price.
